Rick and Morty has already imprinted itself on pop culture's collective consciousness. You seemingly can't propel for people getting schwifty, talking about szechuan sauce, OR being bedecked in Pickle Turn merch.

It stands to reason out, then, that the best Rick and Morty episodes would comprise similarly unforgettable... and you'd be right. So much so, that whittling five seasons' worth of episodes down to evenhanded 10 entries for this list made us want to hop to another creation and let someone else love. Information technology was tough. But we successful it. Featuring quotable classics, a place of Interdimensional Cable and, yes, a certain pickle, these are the Sunday-go-to-meeting Rick and Morty episodes to watch right now.

10. "Mort Dinner Rick Andre"

The episode that spawned a million Funkos. On the surface, it's a send-risen of a John Wick-style revenge tale, just it's actually hiding an overemotional core – matchless that the show doesn't mine rattling often but, when it does, it rattling hits home.

Sure, the action scenes involving Pickle Rick attractive falling guards and even a rat in unity grisly scenes are bound to catch the eye, but it's all a distraction for us and for Rick. His kinsfolk are waiting for him at therapy and, until no again, atomic number 2's doing anything to bring out of it.

For once, Rick owns up to his reckless behaviour and you get the feeling that, even if he would prefer to bolt on cracked adventures, helium nevertheless cares deeply about his family. For an episode that revolves around a pickle, that's not bad going.

1. "Amount Rickall"

Ooo-eee! Here it is: the top-quality Rick and Morty installment – and god bless the animators who worked on it. When the Smith-Glen Gebhard house is overrun away parasites who make up memories of successful-up friends and family, Crick must root taboo the dozens of potential fakes to save the day.

The concept truly allows the creative team up – from the creators to the artists – to let a great deal of fun, and it shows. They range from the tragic (Sleepy Gary), to the unearthly (Amish Bionic man) and the intentionally lazy (Ghost in a Jar). Each parasite that's unrooted in the absurd vignettes that take place in the episode – such Eastern Samoa Turnaround Giraffa camelopardalis redeeming Ghost in a Jarful's life in Vietnam – brings the family back together again, even if information technology comes at a tragic cost.

The kicker is Beth assumptive that the peppy Mr. Poopybutthole isn't real and shoots him. Of naturally, he's been real this altogether clock time. Beth just didn't have any spoilt memories of him and then acknowledged he was a parasite. Awww? At least we'll always fondly recollect Mr. Poopybutthole's first coming into court before his season 4 return.
